New year, new you, am I right?
2017 was a travel filled year for me! And with that, comes a lot of sitting time. Believe it or not, I became bored with music, so I began to turn to podcasts.
I will be honest, I was not a fan at first. I simply wasn't that interested in learning scientific things or listening about someone's life in my free time. You know how we all have our favorite TV shows that don't take any thinking to watch? That's what I thought podcasts would be. Just some new, entertaining mindless background noise. Yet, after a while, I found that they were something I began to really look forward to during my trips, and I started to get really into listening to them because they began to add to my day - such as motivation, new concepts, laughter, gratitude, the latest scoop, etc.
So, whether you're new to the whole podcast thing or have been listening to them for years, here are some that made an impression on me. I recommend listening to one of these the next time you're traveling, bored, or whenever.
